Postbox
Lay flashcards face-up on the floor at the front of the room. Introduce the target language as you lay each one. Place a postbox at the opposite end of the room.
T: It’s (color). What color is it?
S: It’s (color).
Divide students into two teams. Call out target language.
T: It’s (pink).
S: It’s (pink).
T: Go!
One student from each team races heel to toe to grab the flashcard. First to pick up the card then walks back to the teacher.
T/S1: What color is it?
All S: It’s (pink). It’s (pink). It’s (pink).
The card is then posted into Postbox. Repeat for remaining cards.
Postbox can be followed by Mail Call.
フラッシュカードを表向きにして部屋の前方の床に置きます。１枚ずつ置きながらターゲットランゲージを紹介します。ポストを部屋の反対側に置きます。

生徒を２チームに分けます。ターゲットランゲージをコールアウトします。
T: It’s (pink).
S: It’s (pink).
T: Go!
各チーム１人の生徒がフラッシュカードまで競歩で競争します。先にカードを取った生徒が先生のところに戻ってきます。
T/S1: What color is it?
S全員: It’s (pink). It’s (pink). It’s (pink).
その後、フラッシュカードをポストに入れます。残りのカードについても繰り返します。
Postboxの後にMail Callを行ってもよいでしょう。
Mail Call
Teacher takes flashcards out of the postbox one by one.
T: What is it?
The first student to answer correctly keeps the flashcard. Repeat for remaining cards. The student with most cards is the winner. Or, the student who answers becomes the teacher, changing teachers each time.
先生がポストからフラッシュカードを１枚ずつ取り出します。
T: What is it?
最初に正しく答えられた生徒がカードを持っておきます。残りのカードについても繰り返します。一番多くのカードを持っている生徒の勝ちです。または、答えた生徒が先生になり、毎回先生役が交代するようにします。
