Let’s Run! Racing Games for Reviewing Vocabulary 走ろう！ボキャブラリーの練習で競争！

Many students can pay attention better if they’ve used up some energy running around the class room. And it’s just fun! Use these games to get your kids moving and learning at the same time.　余分なエネルギーを費やしたほうが集中できる生徒は少なくありません。しかも走るのが楽しい！このゲームで動きながら英語を学びましょう。

Dash and Trash
Write or draw a picture of each target vocabulary word on the whiteboard, and introduce it as you draw or write each one.
T: It’s a (clothing). What is it?
S: It’s a (clothing).
Split students into two teams. Each team lines up behind a start line.
T: It’s a (skirt). Go!
The first student from each team races to pick up the whiteboard eraser and erase the (skirt). The team that erases (skirt) gets 1 point.
ホワイトボードに各TLのボキャブラリーの絵を描きます。描きながら１つ１つ紹介します。
T: It’s a (clothing). What is it?
S: It’s a (clothing).
Sを２チームに分けます。各チームはスタートラインに並びます。
T: It’s a (skirt). Go!
各チームの最初のSがホワイトボード消しを取り、(skirt)を消します。(skirt)を 消したチームが１ポイント獲得です。

Fetch
Lay the flashcards face up in a line at front of room. Review the target language as you lay each one.
T: It’s a (animal). What is it?
S: It’s a (animal).
Divide the students into two teams. Call out TL.
T: It’s a (cat). What is it?
S: It’s a (cat).
T: Go!
The first student in each team races on tiptoes to fetch the matching flashcard. All students ask the first student from each team: What is it?
First student from each team: It’s a (cat).
Repeat for remaining flashcards.
FCを表向きにして教室の前方に並べます。並べながら１枚ずつTLを確認し ます。

Sを２チームに分けます。TLをコールアウトします。

各チームの最初のSがつま先走りでそのFCを取りに行きます。すべてのSが、 各チームの最初のSに聞きます： What is it?

残りのFCについても繰り返します。
