This chant from Happy Valley Student Book 2, Unit 2, introduces the different places where Kinka and Pinka will visit. Do the chant and then do again with gestures. After, put the teacher or student cards around the room and use the dialogue Let’s go to the… OK! Students can run to the different places. When students are more confident, they can take turns saying where to go. Make a map using the cards and draw streets connecting the places. It can look the same or different to the map in the book.

ハッピーバレー・ユニット2のこのチャントはキンカとピンカがこれから訪ねる場所を紹介します。まずチャントをして、その後にもう一回ジェスチャーをしながらチャントをします。その後は、先生用または生徒用のフラッシュカードを教室のいろんな場所に置き、「Let’s go to the …」「OK!」の対話を練習します。生徒はその場所が書いてあるカードのところまで走ります。自信がついてきたら、行く場所を生徒に言ってもらいましょう。カードで地図を作り、それぞれの場所をつなぐ道を描きます。スチューデントブックと同じものでも違うものでも大丈夫です。
