Chant and place flashcards face up in a horizontal line in front of the students. Introduce the target language as you place each one.
T: It’s a (animal). What is it?
S: It’s a (animal).
Call out the target language.
T: It’s a (dog). What is it?
S: It’s a (dog).
T: Go!
Give each student a counter and have them flick it in the direction of the (dog) card. The first student to get their counter touching the (dog) card is the winner.
T/S1: What is it?
S2: It’s a (dog).
Repeat until all students have answered. Retrieve the counters and repeat for the remaining cards.

生徒が全員答えるまで繰り返します。おはじきを回収し、残りのカードについても 同じことを繰り返します。

Lay all the flashcards face down. Have one student turn over one flashcard. Introduce the target language.

S: It’s (purple).
Repeat for the remaining cards.
