This chant from Happy Valley Student Book 3, Unit 7, introduces some well-known musical instruments. After Storytime, do the chant and then do again with gestures. Before class, queue up some recordings of different instruments playing (make sure to skip past ads and other distractions ahead of time). Play one and ask, “What instrument do you hear?” Students can answer, “It’s a trumpet!” as appropriate. You might make a playlist in your usual music app with instrumental songs or clips.
