The Yes, No Song is great for working on answering Yes/No Questions. Use it with Unit 8 of Happy Valley 1. After, review feelings by asking, “Are you grumpy?” or have some fun asking, “Are you Kinka?” so students get more practice with the Yes and No response.

At Home Tip
Use this after Storytime 8 Is it a Frog? video to practice answering yes and no. Then, ask your child silly questions; for example, ask, “Are you Kinka?” to get them to say, “No!” Use several different people’s names and finally use their name so they can answer, “Yes!”
